I compared this one with the Viatek® Renu – It model. This one works more quickly but doesn’t charge them quite as well and doesn’t have auto shut off, so you must remove batteries 4 hours after trickle charge begins or they will boil out. The Viatek® Renu – It model actually does a very thorough job of bringing an alkaline battery back to full charge, but it can take up to 3 days, but it does have an auto shut off.

After receiving the 1st one I plugged it in and the lights flashed and flashed and flashed. I inserted several batteries in all the slots and the lights just kept flashing, indicating no battery was detected. Seller replaced it and the same thing happened! Absolute piece of cr*p! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU’LL WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SHIPPING CHARGES!
