Eco Factor: Solar-powered charger for portable electronic devices.
Korea-based ZyRUS has unveiled a new solar-powered charger for portable electronic devices that doubles as a USB flash drive. Being touted as a 4-in-1 solar charger, the device also functions as a USB charger and an external battery.
Dubbed Sun Driver, the charger has a built-in solar panel that recharges an onboard 400mAh lithium-polymer battery. In addition to charging the device by solar energy, the Sun Drive can also be recharged via a USB port.
The Sun Drive is bundled with several mobile phone and PMP adapters, which allows the user to charge PMPs, MP3 players, GPS devices and mobile phones on the move. The Sun Drive comes in four variants with USB flash drive capacities ranging from 2GB to 16GB.
