Eco Factor: Ever-changing media wall designed to be powered by solar energy.
Nabito Architects have proposed a stunning media wall to grace the Taipei Pop Music Center that integrates a photovoltaic façade to power LED panels. The ever-changing wall can broadcast news, weather information, advertisements and trailers for upcoming events.
The Taipei Pop Music Center Competition won’t just showcase pop music talents but will also display innovative uses of renewable energy. The media wall will be controlled by a central computer and will change according to the events being held.
The wall consists of a horizontal slab twisted at the center, creating a vertical slab. The north side of the vertical slab carries the LED system, while the south façade of the horizontal slab carries PV modules integrated into glass panels.
