Eco Factor: Solar-powered portable battery charger.
Designed by Tracy Subisak, Donn Koh and Herlinda, the reNEW portable charger encourages the use of rechargeable batteries and solar energy. The conceptual product can either be hung on your window using a suction cup or can be placed directly onto a sunlit table.
The device carries a solar panel that harnesses the energy of the sun to recharge portable batteries placed into its frame. Discharged batteries can be inserted into the device from the top and charged batteries can be taken out from the bottom of the charger.
