Eco Factor: Zero-emission concept bicycle designed to carry two people.
We’ve seen some concept cars that have massive wheels that run on clean energy. Industrial designer Pengtao Yu is bringing a similar design to a concept bicycle that can carry two individuals, who can cooperate with each other to power and turn the bicycle.
Cojoy, as the bicycle has been christened, is inspired by a dual paddle boat along with an operational wheelchair. It carries two sets of pedals, each of which controls a single wheel.
The bicycle doesn’t have a handle to control the direction in which the bicycle should go, it goes straight when both the riders are pedaling at the same speed and the outer rider needs to pedal faster when they need to turn.
