Eco Factor: Sustainable building designed to maximize the use of natural resources.
Denmark-based NORD Architects has won the competition for a new healthcare center for cancer patients in Copenhagen, Denmark, which will enhance recovery and wellness through the use of natural materials and natural resources.
The design incorporates healing architecture that makes good use of natural light, space and connection to the natural world with the use of healthy building materials. In addition to the use of sustainable building materials, the building is also enriched by a close relationship to the surrounding landscape and several themed gardens.
