I’m speaking this afternoon at a special session of DPAC III – The Digital Publishing & Advertising Conference in New York City. My talk is sponsored by Zinio, a forward-thinking company that offers digital versions of hundreds of magazines – Cosmopolitan, BusinessWeek, Dwell, and many others – and does so in a way that enhances the reader’s experience of those magazines. It’s digital content, so that means less paper being printed which means more trees conserved. Yet, it’s done in a way that isn’t just better for the planet, but may actually provide a better reader experience for those who embrace this eco-friendly solution.
My talk will center on the innovation occurring in the marketplace today that is making the adoption of green living practices, not only easy and affordable, but also appealing and desirable. This is the true paradigm shift underway that the best green products and services don’t just fit our lifestyles but actually improve them. Many are here already. Many more are on the way.
