The CES just baffled everyone’s mind with some creative and some weird electronic gadgets. Now it’s the turn of cars to deliver the same thrill as the Geneva Motor Show is about to commence in a month. Setting high standards and taking an early initiative, German firm EDAG – Engineering & Design , AG has unveiled a stunning concept car which will be showcased at the motor show in March.

Dubbed the ‘Light Car’, the concept car is designed to communicate with other drivers using a system of OLED lights, which rest on the some part of the body of the car including the front and rear light, in the form of an OLED display panel. The use of OLEDs not only saves energy, but also enables the driver to change their shape and design at will. The car is powered by an all electric drivetrain that is provides enough power for a 150 km ride on every charge. To get the most out of the batteries, the body of the car has been made from basalt fiber that is both lightweight and 100% recyclable.

The Dark Side:

The technology used in the car is still in its infancy and we cannot say that this car will make an early debut on the streets too.
